Our Mission

Ouellette & Poulin Hockey Camps are designed to perfect the athlete’s technical and tactical individual skills to enable them to perform at the elite level. Our strategic plan will empower young athletes with tools to execute the fundamentals aptitudes related to hockey at the highest level while enjoying the process.

Guest coaches who have joined Caroline Ouellette and Marie-Philip Poulin in the past include Olympians Julie Chu, Laura Stacey, Charline Labonté, Lauriane Rougeau, Kim St-Pierre, Mélodie Daoust, Noémie Marin, Geneviève Lacasse, Catherine Ward, France St- Louis and several members of the Canadian and American National Women’s Team.

About Marie-Philip Poulin

Marie-Philip is a distinguished athlete with four Olympic medals to her name (3 Gold, 1 Silver), having competed in the Olympic Winter Games of 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022. As the captain of the National Women’s Team since the 2014-2015 season, she has led her team with distinction. Marie-Philip's international career also includes 11 appearances in the IIHF World Championships and 6 Four Nations Cups. She showcased her talent with the CWHL Les Canadiennes de Montreal, winning the Clarkson Cup in both 2009 and 2017. Recognized for her individual prowess, she received the Jayne Hefford Trophy and claimed the Angela James Bowl thrice in the CWHL. Graduating from Boston University in 2015 with a degree in Psychology, Marie-Philip excelled academically while also making three appearances in the Frozen Four during her university career. A two-time finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award, she continues to make her mark in the sport, currently playing for Montreal in the PWHL and serving as the team's captain.

Eligibility

Regular Camp

  • Girls and boys playing in MAGH, U7, U9, U11 and U13 divisions
  • Female U15 A players are also welcome.

Elite Camp

  • Female players from female hockey leagues from divisions U13 to U18 inclusively. Categories: AA, AAA and Prep Schools.
  • Female players from male hockey leagues from Divisions U12 to U18 inclusively. Categories: A, CC, BB, AA, AAA and Prep Schools.
  • Some U11 AA players might be admitted in the Elite program with a reference letter from a coach.

about caroline ouellette

Caroline is an illustrious figure in the world of hockey, boasting four Olympic Gold medals from the 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014 Olympic Games. Her impressive career extends beyond the Olympics, with twelve appearances in the IIHF World Championships as a player and three more as a coach. As a member of the CWHL Les Canadiennes de Montreal from 2008 to 2017, Caroline clinched the Clarkson Cup in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2017. Graduating with honors from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Criminology and Women’s Studies, she also achieved NCAA National Titles in 2003 as a player and 2008 as a coach.

In 2023, Caroline's legacy was solidified with her induction into both the IIHF Hall of Fame and the Hockey Hall of Fame, acknowledging her as one of the most outstanding hockey players of all time. Beyond her personal accolades, Caroline is dedicated to advancing the sport for young female players. She founded the Girls Hockey Celebration, a non-profit organization catering to over 850 female hockey players aged 5 to 12 annually. Additionally, she coaches the All-Star Peewee team, which has competed in the Quebec International Peewee Tournament from 2016 to 2022.

Caroline's commitment to coaching extends to the national level, where she serves as an assistant coach with the National Senior team and contributes to skill development coaching staff with Hockey Canada. Currently, she holds the position of associate head coach with the Concordia University Stingers, furthering her impact on the next generation of hockey players.

Regular Program

  • Players will be divided in stations/groups according to age and experience in hockey. 
  • On the first day at camp, you will receive a Ouellette & Poulin hockey camp jersey & a Gatorade sport bottle. 
  • Snacks and 2 lunches powered  by Tim Hortons. 
7 hours of ice
  • Skating techniques
  • Stickhandling
  • Shooting 
  • Passing 
  • Focus on individual skill development in a fun environment
Goalie Sessions

Goaltender specific drills led by our goalie coach Alice Philbert. Alice will be present to advise our goaltenders on techniques and tactics specific to that position.

Off-ice Training

1 daily session of off-ice training. Off-ice training sessions designed with the purpose of developing the following aptitudes: speed, agility, power and strength.

Conference

Conference with our coaches or guest speakers on topics related to performance. 

Elite Program

  • On the first day at camp, you will receive a Ouellette & Poulin hockey camp jersey & a Gatorade sport bottle. 
  • Snacks and 2 lunches powered  by Tim Hortons. 
8 hours of ice
  • Individual skills development with emphasis on skating techniques, shooting and stickhandling. 
  • Position specific drills 
  • Small space competitive games 
Goalie Sessions

SCHEDULE

Camp will start at 4pm on Friday. Saturday and Sunday, activities will be held between 8am and 5pm.  Below is an example schedule for the Regular & Elite Camp, provided as a reference only and not representing the official 2024 Regular & Elite Camp schedule.
