COVID-19 UPDATE

Statement about the Ouellette & Poulin Hockey Camps Summer 2020

Our priority is the well-being and the health of our participants, their families and our staff. We are following daily the evolution of the pandemic and the government regulations and updates regarding sports and health.

You probably saw the good news! Isabelle Charest, minister of Sports, announced the reopening of rinks in Quebec for June 22. We are awaiting more details on procedures and guidelines.

The next step is the institutions approving the reopening of their rinks. In most cases, the ice will have to be put down again which might take 2 to 3 weeks.

We are hopeful that if everything goes well, we will be able to resume our hockey camps in late July or August.

Once we have the approval to move forward, we will create and organize a camp based on individual skills development while making adjustments for the security and safety of our players and staff.

We will be creative for the in class and off-ice training portions of our camps. We can hold these live via zoom or by sharing pre-tapes videos that athletes can follow at their own rhythm.

You can find below the status of each of our 2020 hockey camps:

5 day Montreal Elite camp – postponed to 2 possible weeks:
July 27 to July 31 2020 OR August 10 to 14, 2020

Beauceville camp: postponed to 2 possible weekends:
August 21 to 23 OR August 28-30, 2020

Adult camp – 2 possible weekends
July 25 & 26  OR August 1 & 2, 2020

Regular & Elite Camp in Montreal:
August 7 to 9, 2020

New Brunswick & Newfoundland Camps

At this date, there are restrictions to enter these provinces, which creates uncertainty for the planning of these camps. We will update on those camps status as soon as we know more.

In the case that we are unable to resume our on-ice sessions and unable to travel to another region or province, we will consider offering an entirely virtual camp.

There is nothing to do if you wish for us to keep your name on our registration list.

Please let us know if you wish to cancel your registration.

We will contact you as soon as we have an update on the evolution of the return to play protocol.

Merci and be well
Marie-Philip & Caro
